BC443 Cypraea tigris lorenzi – EXTRA-DARK

Colorful live taken specimen, collected by scuba diver off Fatu Hiva at about 10-15 meters depth. Dark and fresh shell from the Marquesas, described as a full subspecies based on DNA analyses. A very typical “lorenzi form”, with natural irregularities on dorsum.
