DESCRIPTION

Uncommon overcast specimen, live taken, very rostrate, collected by local fishermen diving in few meters in the same area where the famous arabica “amethystea” cowries from shipwreck are found: San Ricardo, Panon island, off Leyte. A very heavy shell with great shape, nice pattern, good extremities, natural irregularities and fully glossed over algal stains. An unusual huge tigris, for collection.
