BC036 Conus julii

Rare live taken specimen from old times, collected by local scuba diving in ’90’s off St.Gilles area at about 40-50 meters depth. Mature shell with superb pattern, excellent strong lip, very heavy for the species. An obvious self-repaired growth line on lateral side, but the shell remains a beauty.
