BC395 Cypraea tigris – ROSTRATE

Live taken unusual specimen, very rostrate, collected by local fishermen diving in few meters of water in the same area where the famous arabica “amethystea” cowries from shipwreck are found : San Ricardo, Panon island, off Leyte. Superb shape, great pattern, good extremities, only tiny natural irregularities abundantly under the gloss. An uncommon piece of very good quality for advanced collectors.
