Aims and scope
www.beautifulcowries.net is a fully free website dedicated to the beautiful world of cowries at their highest quality. Here you will find a gallery of high quality cowries’ specimens.
www.beautifulcowries.net is not a commercial site, and none of the displayed specimens are for sale, or can be sold through this website. Attempts to do so cause the banning from the website. Please do not contact the website owner or the collectors to ask to sell any of the specimens here displayed.

Uploading pictures
All collectors may ask to have a personal page in www.beautifulcowries.net, as well as to display some pictures of their specimens. They can also have their pictures uploaded in an anonymous way; in this case collector’s name will not be shown. www.beautifulcowries.net reserve the right to accept or refuse any subscription, as well as to select and edit the pictures submitted, to fit the standards of the website.

If you want to be part of www.beautifulcowries.net, send us a presentation email at marco.passamonti@beautifulcowries.net, in which you might attach a selection of pictures you want to upload. Please avoid sending many pictures in one time. If you want to upload many pictures, please contact marco.passamonti@beautifulcowries.net to arrange for the transfer.

Picture quality
Pictures must be 1 MEGA maximum. The preferred format is jpeg (.jpg). Please be accurate with the focus and try to make them as best as possible. Poor quality pictures will be rejected.

News and newsletter
You can subscribe our newsletter in the News section. You will be informed about any update or activity of the website. Your email will not be shared with any commercial website. You don’t have to provide your name and address, so participation to the newsletter is anonymous.

Forum
Participation to our forum is free and welcome. However, please avoid being offensive and/or threatening the users. Any impolite behavior will cause the banning from the forum.

Acceptation and banning
The website owner reserves his right to accept and ban any user from the website with no previous advise or justification for all the abovementioned reasons, as well as for any other need of the website (disk space, improving quality, etc.).
